Founded in 2009, Acclivis started as a systems integrator providing integrated and customised IT solutions to enterprise clients. Building on its strengths from its systems integration background, Acclivis ventured into the managed services space in 2011.
Over the years, Acclivis received numerous accolades and awards from leading industry partners such as IBM, Netapp and Cisco for its strong product offerings, making them the IT partner of choice for major organisations.
In 2011, Acclivis opened their first regional office, PT Acclivis Technologies and Solutions in Jakarta, Indonesia.
With the proliferation of Cloud, Acclivis expanded its offerings into Cloud in 2013 to ride on this disruptive trend and cater to a wider customer base across Asia. Its vision is to be one of the leading ICT groups in Asia Pacific, with the aim of driving business agility, scalability and cost savings to enterprise customers.
To ramp up its Cloud offerings, Acclivis launched its SS507:2008 certified Disaster Recovery Centre in 2012, offering a full suite of disaster recovery services to its customers.
Having bold ambitions to power Asia’s Cloud, DeClout acquired a regional Internet Service Provider (ISP), OSINet Communications Pte. Ltd., to bolster Acclivis’ Cloud and Managed Services capabilities, scaling its ability to provide end-to-end solutions with its own ISP licence in Singapore.
To further expand regional footprint throughout Southeast Asia, DeClout acquired ISP assets of Pacnet Singapore and Thailand from Telstra, allowing Acclivis to become a full-fledged, Cloud, Technology and ISP player and to expand its presence into Thailand.
In October 2016, it was announced that CITIC Consultancy 1616 Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (“CITIC Telecom”) has entered into a sales and purchase agreement with DeClout to acquire Acclivis for up to S$75 million. The transaction was completed in November 2016 and yielded a disposal gain of up to S$27.9 million represents DeClout’s second successful harvest of the year, following the listing of Procurri on the SGX Mainboard in July 2016. Achieving this second major milestone validates the Group’s ability to incubate successful businesses and to monetise and generate attractive returns for shareholders.
The successful acquisition of Acclivis also creates more collaboration opportunities between DeClout and CITIC Telecom going forward.
